Stand Upright Rebooted beginner guide

You spawn standless in Stand Upright Rebooted. There is no cinematic tutorial that hands you Star Platinum. The loop is: join the group, pick up a Stand Arrow, read M, quest, evolve later. This page is the first-hour checklist. The video in the middle is a complete item-and-stand overview from launch-era SUR; recipes still match, spawn seconds can drift — confirm clocks on item spawns.

Minute zero

1. Play on a public 14-player server. Event layers and some boosts skip VIP instances.
2. Join Zai-Studios: SUR and follow ZAIXOZ for 2× EXP and money for 30 minutes. Steps: group boost.
3. Learn the keys on controls. Q summons a Stand you do not have yet. Ctrl sprints. L is menus, M is stand stats.
4. Walk the streets until a Stand Arrow appears (about once a minute). Use it. Open M. You now have a name, a rank letter, and an attribute.

Keep Hierophant Green, Aerosmith, or any Pilot for questing. Keep Whitesnake, Gold Experience, King Crimson, D4C, The World line, OVAs, Jotaro’s Star Platinum even with a mediocre attribute — those are evolution parents. Fruit Cream with None unless you like the look. Rokakaka spawns on a similar clock to arrows; it resets the kit. A 0.1% Putrid Whine can roll off fruit instead of a reset. Charged Arrows are the rarer glow. They can roll Dio’s The World at 0.1%. Do not camp them until you already have a questing Stand.

How to get all items + all stands

First two hours of quests

Open the quest guide. Giorno is level 1, then Koichi, and so on up to DIO and Abdul. Turn in at the same NPC. If you rolled a Pilot, stand on the giver, send the Stand to the spawn, press E as if you were next to the corpse. That trick is the entire leveling page in one sentence.

Die less: G block, do not RMB-whiff in a pack, dash with Alt/4 only after Q is out. PvP in the street is optional. You can ignore it until you have something the tier list does not call F.

At level 55, ketchup sold to the SWAT merchant becomes cash. Before 55, leave ketchup on the ground unless you are bagging for later. Stone Mask (Vampire) and Hamon are secondaries; they do not replace your Stand. Umbrella for sun-walking Vampires is in the sewers. Specs page: specs.

What not to do on day one

• Do not use a Requiem Arrow on a random 7.5% kit. The legal targets are on evolutions.
• Do not use Dio’s Diary or Ultimate Diary under the level gate (diary OH / 100+).
• Do not trade your first OVA in Discord DMs. Read Discord.
• Do not paste a script on the account you just rolled Jotaro’s Star Platinum on.
• Do not ignore codes entirely — there may still be no string, but the group boost is real.

Storage sits in front of the Dio NPC. Put extras there before you fruit. Then either quest to 90 for Inner Sanctum or hunt Whitesnake for the Made in Heaven line. The rest of the guides hub assumes you have done this page once.

A realistic first session

Forty-five minutes is enough if the 2× is running. Arrow, keep a Pilot, Giorno through Koichi, maybe Joseph. You will die to street PvP; hop servers instead of raging. Fourteen-player instances are cheap. If someone with time stop is camping the arrow pocket, walk the next block — arrows spawn on a map-wide clock, not on that lamp post only.

Read M every roll. None / Strong / Tough are normal. If you see Godly or Daemon on a 7.5% kit, store it even if you wanted Whitesnake. That modifier is rarer than the name you were hunting. Full table: attributes.

When the 2× ends, either keep questing on the Pilot or start a Charged Arrow camp for Dio’s The World. Do not do both while learning keys. Bookmark Trello and this wiki. Recheck codes after the next patch. If the huge update moved a menu, Discord pins beat a year-old thumbnail.
